About Us

The Happiness Society of Kenya is a social impact society dedicated to pursuit and promotion of happiness and well-being, and to inspire personal and professional and community flourishing

The purposes of The Happiness Society of Kenya are:-

To support and promote happiness in personal, business organizations and in community life in Kenya and elsewhere.

To provide a mutually supportive and psychologically safe environment in which members can study and practice the science of happiness, and enable them to live happier, more meaningful and more fulfilling personal lives.

To build a vibrant happiness community that will foster meaningful friendships, deep social connections, team work and togetherness among members

To collaborate and partner with other organizations to disseminate knowledge, ideas and experiences on happiness.

Celebrating The International Day of Happiness 2025

The International Day of Happiness was a vibrant and impactful celebration, inspired by this year’s UN theme, Caring and Sharing.

Hon. Kiraitu Murungi, EGH, the Chief Happiness Officer of the Happiness Society of Kenya, emphasized the transformative power of kindness, connection, and mutual support in building a happier world.

This year’s event was particularly significant as it coincided with the first anniversary of the Happiness Society of Kenya, marking a milestone in its mission to spread happiness and well-being across the nation
